For the last few weeks we have been creating slides for a activity called Culture Club. We had to learn about one country either by ourselves or in a buddy. The country Ruby and I chose was Korea. For this activity we also had to create a video and our own flag.

Times Tables
Times Tables
For maths we are trying to learn all of our time tables. Some people know them already, but some don't. I have just got my 6's and I am working on 7's. To learn these time tables we go on a website called Timetables.com
The website gives you medals and diplomas. To get medals and diplomas you have to complete tasks. You chose which time table you want to learn. I like doing this because it makes my learning easier to do. This is because I can focus on one time table a week and not have to rush.
These are the activities:
Writing answers in order
drag the answer to the right box
write the answers in random order
press the right answer
timed questions

James K Baxter Poem
In L3 writing ( Level 3 ) we are learning to write poems. we were inspired by James K Baxter. He is and incredible writer. his first album was shared when he was 17. For our structure we used his first sentence and last one, then we had to come up with 5 nouns and then 5-7 verbs. Once I finished I felt like I was beginning to get better at poems because I managed to write a poem similar two James's. Here is my version of This Town.

Super learning withs Charts
DLO
In EL4 (Early level 4) maths we were working on statistics and charts. This wasn't my best DLO but I still tried to explain it well. I am starting to understand Statistics and charts better now.

Before And After
On Tuesday our whole school did a clean up. One of the groups did a clean up in the kids P.E Shed.
Here are the before and after pictures.
Before After
&
It was so so hard to find things but now that we have cleaned it and organised it, it is way easier and there is such a big difference. On Tuesday we learnt about how doing one little thing can make a big difference. This was one of the things that we did. I am proud of the work that we did!

Run NZ
Run NZ
Our cross country is coming up! To get reading for it we are doing something called Run NZ. Run NZ is when you have a certain amount of time to run as many laps of the field as you can. In our books we have to mark how many laps of the field we do each day. My highest is 8, it's not very impressive but it's still pretty good.
Yellow = Option 1
Orange = Option 2
Purple = Option 3
Blue = Option 4
Pink = Option 5
Option 1 is the least amount of laps.
Option 5 is the most amount of laps.
Option 3 is in between.
I am doing option three wich means I have to do 101.5 laps in total. To get to 101.5 I have to do at least 4 laps each school day for six weeks.

Kawa Of Care
Introduction
This week in Moana 3 we have been working hard on some posters. The posters are about taking care of our computers, and they are also about cyber safety. This is called Kawa of Care.
Kawa Of Care
This week I learnt a lot about Kawa Of Care. The most important thing I learnt is not to share personal information. The reason you shouldn't share personal information is because someone could either call or email you and you don't know who it is, or someone could track you which is dangerous. But the most important one is DON'T SHARE YOUR PASSWORD because someone could hack you. At the end of the day we learnt that we should close all the tabs and then shut our computer down.
What Is Kawa Of Care
Kawa of Care is about being cybersmart and taking care of our computers. This makes sure we can keep using our computers. Kawa of Care means we are keeping ourselves safe and respecting our computers and each other. We are also being sensible and responsible with our computers and to each other. This is a poster my friend Ruby and I made to show others to be cyber smart and show Kawa of Care.
